Packed and Ready to Go!
It’s been a full year now since I first responded to a small ad offering “Counseling Opportunities in Bhutan.” It’s been a whirlwind of a year since then, unexpectedly selling our house in Mexico and returning to live in the US after nearly 13 years away. Barely settled in here in Portland, I’m now packed and ready to begin this incredible three-month adventure. I got my official work visa approved yesterday and will begin my journey May 1. I’ll fly from Portland to Vancouver, BC to Hong Kong and to Bangkok, where I’ll spend two nights before my final flight to Paro, Bhutan. I invite you to follow my blog and share my Bhutan experiences with me. (If you'd like to receive new posts as I write them, just type your email address in the "Follow by Email" space above my photo to the right.)

ReplyDeleteYou need, in no order of importance: Warm clothes, good luck charm, extra socks, good boots, a sense of humor and wonderment, money. Michael
